DJMag review:
Randy Boyer & Eric Tadla
Aden's Dream¹
(Flashover)
5/5
Tragically 'Aden's Dream' is Eric 'EnMass' Tadla's swansong. Randy Boyer
completed the track posthumously as a tribute to his regular production
partner and as an ode to Eric's young son, Aden. The track navigates the
infinitesimal trance line of Œlift¹ and Œlament¹ with supreme accuracy. The
backing has just the right amount of rippling floor-essence about it, while
never detracting from the sheer symphonic beauty of its multiple riffs. As a
mark of respect, it is unequivocally a fitting one.
Audiomind released new album «Impose Me» on Nedarecords.tk label. Release date 26.12.2008

Randy Boyer & Kristina Sky are back in action to hit the trance circuit with
another massive single, ³No Limit², this time around on the U.S. mega label

have flawlessly woven their signature electro-tinged basslines and addicting
uplifting melodies along with fresh vocals from stellar L.A.

opportunity, this release is an emotional mover for sure.

Following on from the incredible success of Transmission theme “The New World” was never going to be an easy task for Markus Schulz. Risen expectations, along with the desire to have a signature big room moment in his festival sets for the summer, prompted Markus to spend some time in the studio, to increment work on a project originally conceived in the city of Shanghai.
Inspired by his tours to Australia, Asia and Europe, Markus presents the next chapter of his remarkable story, entitled “Do You Dream”.
The original contains everything you would expect in a Markus Schulz production ? a deep, moody bassline, weaved in between beautiful melodies and an energetic riff. After debuting the track to the Global DJ Broadcast audience through the World Tour recording from Prague, speculation and excitement mounted that this indeed was the followup to The New World. And they were right.
As June turned to July, Markus spent more time in the studio working on a second version of the track, in a more uplifting style geared towards his big appearances at Dance Valley, SouthWestFour and as Global Gathering festival resident. Recently debuted on Global DJ Broadcast, fans unanimously reacted positively to the Uplifting Mix, voting it as Global Selection winner in its first attempt. The Uplifting Mix has also been heard on Ibiza dancefloors, recently being played by Armin van Buuren during his residency at Amnesia, along with radio support on A State Of Trance and Trance Around The World.
Do You Dream marks a significant milestone for Coldharbour Recordings, finding itself as the 75th release on the label.
Despite the release of a new Markus Schulz single, his alter ego, Dakota, will also have a strong presence on Coldharbour Day.
Unveiled and highly regarded on Markus Schulz’s much acclaimed CD compilation, Toronto ’09, Sin City is the third single to be released from the Dakota album, Thoughts Become Things.
Sin City has been an almost permanent fixture on Global DJ Broadcast playlists since March, particularly on the World Tour recordings. Following a visit to Miami for Winter Music Conference week, German duo Cosmic Gate approached Markus with the idea of them undertaking the remix, so enamoured they were with the original. Their remix rocked dancefloors across the breadth of Asia during Markus’ tour in May.
Last but not least, one of the championed names of Coldharbour in the past couple of years, Rex Mundi, steps up and delivers his own unique take on the track, resulting in a huge bassline-driven and epic breakdown that will surely be the talk of Ibiza and beyond for the remainder of the summer.
Sin City will be available on Coldharbour Recordings Red.
Should you be a relatively new follower to the sound of Coldharbour, then the following is highly recommended. Markus has selected 20 of his favorite tracks that have featured on Coldharbour and Coldharbour Red, and also the various samplers from his compilations over the years.
So from the bassline-driven Blueberry by Probspot which featured on the first ever Coldharbour Selections in 2004, to the groovy Where It All Begun by Sassot from Ibiza ’06, to present day dancefloor-destroyers such as Elevation’s Biscayne, many will find the Coldharbour path as a beautiful one waiting to be discovered.
The Coldharbour Day bundle will be available to purchase on iTunes and all other digital download portals.

HeatBoyer- Happy Ending
Randy Boyer teams up with the Youngblood Argentinean’s known as Heatbeat- (Agustin Servente + Matias Faint), to create HeatBoyer, and to bring you their latest track: Happy Ending. This crowd pleaser leaves the listener to find themselves enveloped in cutting edge beats mingled with classic sounds and build up that brings us to a level of complete euphoria and enchantment that a true trance lover is always on the search for. The fun-loving nature of these guys is clearly apparent throughout this tune, and leaves us all wanting more. The freshest track out there, and already supported by artists such as John
O’Callaghan, Kyau & Albert, Gareth Emery, Judge Jules, Darude- the list goes on-we can all rest easily knowing that tune is here to stay on dance floors and in the EDM world in general.

Majai is an electronic dance music project of Anna Sennikova and Mark Kruger. They debuted on Monster Tunes back in 2007 with track the «Lightwave» and their track «Phoria» exploded on to the scene in 2008 with a little help from Elevation and Jorn van Deynhoven who delivered the big room remixes. The people who witnessed Ferry Corsten at the Trance Energy mainstage must surely remember when he dropped the Jorn van Deynhoven Remix. Now back to present; they are here with a new track called Strange which again (as per usual with Majai releases) comes with a rather impressive remix package. Once again courtesy of Tetsuo who also released the Phoria track.
«Everything is peculiar and it's strange»
Re:Locate Remix / Dub
Paul Moelands aka Octagen aka Re:Locate - a man of many names delivers the first remix for this track. The track is well driven by the rolling bassline and some good vocal'ish stabs. The vocal itself works really well with Paul's style and one can tell that this wouldn't be his first vocal remix. The pay-off begins with a sort of stabbing synth sequence which then breaks out in a good combination between bass, drums and the main lead - quite energic and club friendly.
Cressida Remix / Dub
Cressida is (cressida is only 1 guy now) behind one of my favourite tunes this year and that being his remix of Coll & Tolland's Redemption. So obviously I have a good reason to be excited about this remix. As expected a bit of lovely progressive trance synth work to colour the track plus a funky bassline to go with that. Even though the lead satisfies me I would had hoped for something even bigger lead - it still works though.
Nitrous Oxide Remix / Dub
Nitrous Oxide has always been better at remixing (his first record aside) if you ask me. What annoys me though is the bass in this mix. The type of bass I personally have been praying for to leave trance for good. Unfortunately it keeps on turning up in various tracks and remixes. Krzysztof does a good job fitting in and arranging the vocals and giving them a good support with some added pads which indeed gives the track a good atmosphere. The lead is not too impressive and I would have expected something fresh or powerful but he plays a safe card instead. Nitrous is usually good to spark up a track if it has a good melody on beforehand but this time he had to be more creative and maybe that was what lead to remix just being «ok».
2XLC Remix
Talla pulls off a remix as well and under his 2XLC guise. He recently released a track called «Dante's Peak» on tetsuo Hybrid and it was clear that this project is reserved for the deeper, minimalistic and progressive side of Talla 2XLC. And so a bit more of a house bottom-end and a deeper bass. The vocals are slowly served in dry bits as a part of the build-up and Anna repeats the word «Stranger». This remix never really blows up at any point but it has its qualities, even though it isn't revolutionary. The different parts just works together and the synths used all gives the track a good vibe.
DJ Preach Remix / Dub
I feel DJ Preach was an odd choice for a tune like this. Even though he is quite a talent I think his style and this type of base track would work just as well together as two positively charged ions. And even though he lays out a big bassline and some neat percussion the tune still feels more like a bootleg than an actual remix. I think a dub would be the best to pick here.
Original Mix / Radio Edit
The original version is a combination of a nice padded atmosphere, clear vocals and some nice chunky edginess. The full original version is perhaps a little too much considered how interesting it actually is but the radio mix works really well.
Verdict
There is no doubt that I was biased before picking up this package for a review. The expectations were big as I felt that their two first releases were a success. This release does however feel like a sequel that simply is trying too hard. It doesn't match the quality we have heard before but there are a few mixes that are still worth checking out; both Cressida and Re:Locate are good with vocals and this shows. Two good mixes that each represents a different style and my personal favourite would be the Cressida one cause of the bassline work and the pleasent melodies - not to forget the big main lead.
We're proud to announce EnMass Music's first beast, or beauty, actually, from the label's own Randy Boyer featuring ethereal vocals by Cari Golden. Our premier release is a powerful and melodic trancer which takes you on an awesome journey on the dance floor.
The original mix is a tried-and-tested peak-time floor killer that can even work at the proggiest of BPMs. Don't be afraid to crank this one LOUD, as the bassline is banging!
Jonas Hornblad's take on the track has a wicked bassline, epic breakdown, and proper synth stabs that will make any dance floor go off.
Matt Cerf & Shawn Mitiska come through yet again with this chunky number; a perfect fit for all those house & progressive heads out there.
The Boyan & Boyer mix is a solid progressive house tune, chiming in at 128 BPM. This fusion track even breathes a bit of trance while coupling with an aggressive bassline that bangs its way into your head. This diverse mix can either be dropped early on in the night or pumped up for peak time. The choice is yours!

Paul Corson - Midnight Train (Remixes by Darude, Randy Boyer & more)
EnMass Music's next release, EMM002, is Paul Corson's 'Midnight Train'
including mixes by Darude, Randy Boyer, Weirdness and Boyan & Boyer and
the original rock version is out and available now from iTunes, Amazon, Beatport, Audiojelly, DJ Download & more.
Paul Corson is a Vegas-based rocker armed with catchy lyrics and memorable
melodies. After being introduced to Darude by a mutual friend, Darude became
interested in transforming Paul's original pop-rock song 'Midnight Train' into a
club shaking dance-floor track. Paul gave him complete freedom to dismantle
the song, which he did, and put it back together with killer electronic sounds,
additional melodies and a totally new atmosphere, yet keeping the original
lyrical vibe intact. Paul got excited about this new field of music and is looking
forward to use his talent as a singer and songwriter for more electronic
projects in the future as well.
Darude's Mix is a 134 BPM melodic uplifter, a fusion of electronic sounds and
the original rock bass and drums with a fat bassline and layers of trancey
synths. Darude's 128 BPM Alternative Mix is thick with bass, wide with synth
walls and driven with energetic drums and percussion.
Randy Boyer pushes the BPM all the way up to 138, throws in a monster
bassline and a hypnotic melody and only calms the track down for a little while
to introduce the verse vocals. Then it's all over, the must-dance moments just
take you away!
Weirdness Remix uses the original rock drums layered with some tight
electronic drumworks, then introduces perfectly fitting, but very different
piercing synth melodies which support and play off of the vocal. The pulsing
bassline is definitely noteworthy, it adds a solid foundation and keeps the track
rolling forever!
The Boyan & Boyer Remix completes the package with a heavily pumping
bassline, reworked chord progression, wicked synth stabs, chopped vocals and
more minimal, but still uplifting vibe for those progressive moments.
