This month's guestmix comes courtesy of Northern Ireland DJ Dru Wainwright. Over the last 12 years Dru has established himself as a well known DJ on the Northern Ireland clubbing circuit. At the age of 16 he began his residency at The Knightsbridge in Newtownards, where he played alongside both local legends such as Tizer and Eddie Wray, as well as international artists such as Yomanda. After 8 years of fronting The Knightsbridge Dru went on to host his own radio show on a local Northern Ireland radio station and began playing at numerous venues across Ireland. In 2007 he fronted the infamous Jus 90’s night at Café Ceol in Bangor which attracted a capacity crowd every Friday night for 2 years running. Today you can catch Dru on Saturday nights at Mint in Bangor where he delivers a tasteful blend of electro house and trance along side international brands and artists including Gatecrasher, Cream, Planet Love, and Eurphoia. The 26th June will be a milestone for Dru’s DJing carrier as he will be playing along side global superstar Alex Kidd at Planet Love’s monthly residency at Mint Bangor.
