Sunset to Sunrise Recordings presents Sunset to Sunrise Sessions

Setrise/Melle Bakker:

After being born on the 5th of August 1991, Melle Bakker lived throughout the whole world in which he got in contact with many different styles of music. From Classical, Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B to Trance which he discovered back in the Netherlands. All these styles were to be combined in his own style house which he started in 2006. Gradually Melle started to love melodic House & Trance more and more. In 2007 he started under the artist name Setrise, which stands short for Sunset to Sunrise. The style of Setrise to combine house with emotional tunes is something that Setrise is still widely respected for. Besides the more calm side of Setrise, there is also a trance side which stands for melodic but yet techish trance. Setrise has played his own style in many Dutch clubs and various big events. Production wise Setrise’s Sunset to Sunrise Recordings has grown up to a top progressive & trance label after starting in May 2008. Currently with tracks supported by Markus Schulz, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten & others, we are sure to hear more of the name Setrise/Sunset to Sunrise.

Sunset to Sunrise Recordings:

Sunset to Sunrise Recordings was established in April 2008 by Melle Bakker. Sunset to Sunrise is sure for quality releases that range from all sub-genres that Trance has to offer. Sunset to Sunrise releases have received support from DJ’s such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten and many more. With even bigger releases coming up in 2009, Sunset to Sunrise plans to grow even bigger than it did in 2008.

Finally there’s going to be a Sunset to Sunrise radio show. The immense support we got right from the beginning was enormous. ‘Setrise’ shall be hosting it and the biggest Dj’s in the scene shall be bringing in some hot exclusive guestmixes. Jingles shall come from leading singers I have worked with in the past. Intro and Outro shall be made by the Sunset to Sunrise artists Shannon Riches a.k.a. Approaching Black and Thom V. The very first show shall be broadcasted as from Friday the 27th of February at 13:00-14:00 GMT on PureSound.
