In the last few years, dutchman Nenes developed his own style as a dj and producer. Bringing this style to the audience, he creates an atmosphere full of energy. After his huge clubhit ‘Turbulence’, Nenes was ready to conquer the rest of the world with his music and his performance. The release of ‘Platinum’ on High Contrast Recordings is definitely a big step forward in his career. This track already got support from jocks like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Christopher Lawrence, Eddie Halliwell, Rank 1, Sander van Doorn, Richard Durand, Mark Sherry, JOC, Cosmic Gate, Johan Gielen and Marcel Woods (to name a few).
Reactions on ‘Platinum’ were amazingly positive, like: Tiësto: “Wow, I love this record! This is going to be in every set I’m going to play this summer!” Armin van Buuren: “Love this record! Big one in all my sets!” Eddie Halliwell: “This is why I love the High Contrast label, always full fire it up material!” Johan Gielen: “Amai, this is a bomb! Will play for sure, love it!” Sander van Doorn: “Very strong track, really like the original mix!“ The year 2007 has been amazing for Nenes with releasing one of the biggest trance anthems of the year, some nice compilation cd’s with ‘Platinum’, releasing two other massive supported tracks and with performances on festivals like Creamfields and in the USA. The final reward for the hard work in 2007 came with the news that ‘Platinum’ is featured in both the Yearmix cd of Armin van Buuren’s ASOT show and on the new dvd of Tiesto’s EOL World Tour. Many opinions tell already that, being in sets of Tiësto, Christopher Lawrence and many others for more then 2 years, ‘Platinum’ is a Classic Tune!
Playing around the globe on Festivals and events like Sensation White, Creamfields a.o. and in clubs in USA, Indonesia, Norway, Malaysia, Ireland, Romania, Greece, Spain, Poland, Albania, Estonia, Egypt, France and of course The Netherlands, Nenes had great experiences and recieved enthousiastic reactions from the audience.
