Carbondub

Having his first contact with electronic music back in 1999, Carbondub had a very special connection with music, that made him to develop a passion for this genre. Altough he was just 10 years old, he knew that this will be his future favourite music genre.

Altough the music he listened back than was, house, club, or other electronic styles, he was especially attracted to trance music when listening to artists like ATB, Tiesto or Armin van Buuren. But his main source of inspiration, the artists that made Carbondub’s style today, were Markus Schulz, Peter Martin, Noel Sanger, Gabriel & Dresden, Ozgur Can and others.

A while has passed since the first contact with electronic music, until he started mixing it. His first mixes were made in 2005 and were listened by his friends. After deciding that he wants his mixes on the radio, Carbondub applied in the early days of Puresound.fm for a residency to hold his radioshow, and so his mixes to become popular, and enjoyed by many more people.

And there was is, in 24-09-2007, The Trancefusion radioshow was born, a monthly show on Puresound.fm that had it’s goal to present the best tracks, the highlights of trance & progressive tracks of the respective month. Besides trance, the show plays progressive trance and progressive house too, mainly, those tracks that have a certain sound … like carbondub’s style. Well, by Carbondub we understand a sound that is dark, with brooding basslines, a sound that has the colour of carbon, like dub mixes, but still melodic, and powerful, energic. That’s what you’ll hear on Trancefusion Radioshow. Until next edition: Tune-In and enjoy!
