Opener

OPENER, Alexander Tkhalenkho, was born and lives in Kiev. He has been doing DJing since 2000. Since then he started to compose his own music being influenced by electronic music of such teams as The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy.

Alexander played his first professional set in August 2001 in the «Malekula Club» (Odessa), following which he played his sets almost all over Ukraine.
In 2005 the first compilation DJ Opener - Transcend Mix came out, and in 2006 this mix appeared as the mp3 compilation Best DJ’s Session -1. In the same year Opener opened the author's radio programm The Classic of Trance on EtoRadioDance radio station, where he’s been presenting trance tracks sounded in the distant past.

Furthermore, Opener keenly does writing of his own tracks and remixes, closely cooperates with Ukraine and Russian representatives of the trance-culture, but he connects with European ones.

Opener took part in such parties as My Trance Day, Battle of Radio shows, The Classic of Trance party and so on.
