Maarten de Jong

Maarten de Jong is just 25 years old and already responsible for several hits. He got his first spinning tables at the age of thirteen. From that moment on, his life was all about music. Two years later he started working as a DJ in local clubs. It didn't take long before he became a local hero.

At the age of seventeen he started producing and did several remixes. In the year 2007 Maarten decided to go for his solo career. Which resulted in a track called ‘’Massive’’. The track was playlisted by djs like: Sander Van Doorn, Armin van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell and Mark Sherry. After that success Maarten did a remix for “Take U Down” by Roy Gates, this track also went straight into the cd players of several famous djs.

After these tracks Maarten Started a Co-Op with Melvin Warning which resulted in the track “Era” . Maarten did a remix for it performing as his new alias Robert Mynze. Era was played by many djs, Eddie Halliwell even played it more than 3 times in his radio show on BBC One! Maarten gained another boost in his career which resulted in a remix for “Ronski Speed pres. RST’’ which was released on Reset.

Maarten de Jong made his statement to the music industry in 2007 and 2008 will be better kicking off with his remix for
Cor Fijneman on Oxygen Records.
